...Reflect what I am. Loser, winner, the king of Siam...

"Hot Bi-Polar Babe" was originally a t-shirt someone was selling on the internet ca. 1995. There's a small but steady demand for this at Worldcon; my mind keeps blanking on who qualifies for one of these and is interested in handing them out, but I expect she'll remind me at
laconiv. I had the fancy version printed in 2004, and brought them to Noreascon 4.
"Straight but not narrow" is the classic opposite to "Gender Outlaw;" it's a useful ribbon to have if you're at, say, Gaylaxicon, and you want to indicate that while you're not interested in advances from the same sex, you're not going to make a fuss either. Lately
glittercat13 has been handing them out. I've had them printed on both regular "rainbow" and "pastel rainbow" ribbon stock -- the multicolor stuff. I had the fancy version printed in 2005 to replace the plain text ones the ribbon company had printed before.
Typefaces: Clarendon Bold, Clarendon Extended, and Blado. (You can see the "A" is different in "STRAIGHT" and "BABE.") And I use Blado for the "sexier" titles, as I mentioned earlier.

"It's not a fetish, it's an interest" was something Christian said, casually, at Solley's one night. A light went on in my head and I immediately wrote it down for ribbon use. This one's definitely a keeper. I printed the fancy ones like this in 2004.
"Pervy" was suggested to me by
zarabee and... someone else, I don't have her LJ handle handy. I like it better than "Flexible" so I'm going to let "Flexible" lapse when it runs out. They suggested it a Noreascon 4; I first had them done with regular block letters, then made these fancy ones when I ordered more of then in 2005.
Typeface: Blado.

"Pretty Boy" was a sequel to Beefcake. There's a lot more interest in the Pretty Boys at the animé conventions;
karisu_sama handed them out at
animelosangeles 2, where she was a fgoh, so I might hand off a bunch to her again the next time I see her. I printed the fancy ones in 2004.
I'd heard "Ribbon Slut" (and variations on that phrase) at conventions where people go ribbon-crazy, begging to collect more of them. I'm not sure it makes sense to reward this behavior; but there's hardly a ribbon that says "Doesn't like to collect ribbons" that someone who fits that category would accept, right? These fancy ribbons were created in 2005.
Typeface: Blado.
