Ribbon story part 33. This is a mix of ribbons, some of them ordered for [info]laconiv, some of them plain, some with the rocket/starburst logo.

  • Runs with Scissors
  • Cafeteria Lady
  • Sorry
  • CSI: Convention Site Inspector
  • Speaker to Hotel
  • Will only work for ribbons

[info]selinawoman wanted Runs with Scissors. We printed them as plain ribbons, and she handed out one or two to people attending L.A.con IV. She didn't make it to the convention, so there weren't very many of these around.

Cafeteria Lady was the official ribbon for Con Suite staffers, so it was in short supply at the con too. (Not many people running the Con Suite that year.) It was a plain ribbon with the rocket/starburst.

Ed Green asked for plain SORRY ribbons, with the rocket/starburst. He gave them all away to people at the convention he said "Sorry" to. Later, after [info]animelosangeles this year, I ordered some fancy ones for myself to hand out. I had mine made in light green with green printing, in honor of Ed's original color scheme for the title. The typeface is Clarendon Extended. I've already given away ten of them at AniZona.

As you might guess from the rocket/starburst, CSI: Convention Site Inspector was an official ribbon at L.A.con IV. Like the plain Speaker to Hotel ribbons that I printed for Animé Los Angeles, these ribbons are meant for the con's hotel liaison team. If Christian runs out of the "CSI: Convention Site Inspector" and wants more, we can use the same plate and just have the rocket/starburst trimmed off of it.

Finally, Will only work for ribbons is one of the many self-referential ribbons that were in circulation at L.A.con IV. These plain ribbons were printed for [info]cfmiller to hand out, in response to the "Will work for ribbons" that others handed out.
