The next day was the "What Ho, Jeeves!" live game at the Crosbys. I thought I'd be in Atlanta and wouldn't be able to attend, so I was completely unprepared. Translation: I didn't even have a hat... More pictures and my notes behind the cut.Collapse )

A splendid time was had by all. At one point two neighbors came by, and they said that Colleen and obishawn always have the most interesting parties. Yup. There's some talk about doing it again -- but not bothering with the storyline and the game aspect, just inviting people to dip into their 1920s/1930s wardrobe and play games at a garden party. Certainly I know my mom would love to be invited -- she'd make something period, possibly duplicating something her mother or mother-in-law wore...
