We're all fine here.
The Corona-Yorba Linda-Anaheim Hills fire is east and north of us. (As opposed to the Brea fire, which is northwest of us.) We're down on the flats, not up in the brushy hills, and it's the more-northerly reaches of Yorba Linda that are burning anyway. I'm not worried.
Some houses in the Anaheim Hills portion of our zip code burned; we're on the other side of the freeway and the Santa Ana River from all of that.
The high school around the corner, in fact, is where they were sending evacuees, at least until the smoke got to be too much.
We don't expect our house to be in danger, but because of the smoke we're sleeping elsewhere tonight.
